Logo placement -The logo will be shown at the beginning of the music video covering the full screen in the 2 seconds before the music starts before fading out into the video -During the video, a small version of the logo will be placed in the right-hand corner which will remain right until the end of the video

-I have used green as the main colour on the logo because it is not stereotypically a ‘girly’ colour and this links to the video that it is okay to oppose social norms -The artist’s name is written in a signature style to make it seem more personal -The black silhouette represents the artist and the hairstyle shown will be the same one she is wearing in the video

Story Plan -The video will focus on the artist who is spreading the message that you don’t need to conform to the social standards set by society and the video will include a range of people, however only the artist will be lip-syncing. - The main representation of two social groups in my video will be different ages -The video will contain narrative elements because the lyrics state actions for example ‘I eat my body weight in chocolate and ice cream’ which the artist will act out -While the artist is acting out the lyrics she will be lip-syncing and dancing in some shots to include performative elements in the video as well

Statement of Intent:  My music video will be a protest video against the pressure society and social media creates for people to look or be a certain way. In my music video I aim to create a vibrant and colourful theme with natural lighting to spark happiness and excitement in the viewer. I will also maintain this excitement through the use of mostly fast paced camera shots which change on the beat, making the video uplifting and joyful which will make the audience feel empowered.  The video will be shot in a range of locations to provide some elements of escapism; however, everything will still be shot in England which will make the video feel relevant and homely for the audience who will be mostly British. Although I would like to include lots of people in my video, the main focus will be the artist who will be a similar age to the audience. People Help The People- Birdy -The video focuses on the idea that you shouldn’t jump to conclusions and judge people if you don’t know them because there is probably a story behind their actions and that everyone is equal and you should try and help someone no matter who they are. -It is in black and white, which removes the factor of race and emphasises that everyone is equal. -Most of the shots are in a crowded space and the camera continuously focuses in on specific people throughout with the close ups giving the audience a better view of their emotions and emphasis on every individual’s own story. -In particular, there is a deep focus shot of a man sitting on the steps who looks sad which helps to gain the audience’s sympathy and also may make them question the reason behind his sadness and therefore realise that there are always things you don’t know about someone -As the video is shot in the crowded streets of London, it shows a wide range of people going about...
