The second shot pictures the lead singer and the only female member of the band who is walking to the car for band practice, showing the theme of the video to be that women can be in rock. The use of the band in the video over actors means this video is more performative. This also a 1 second shot.

This is a low-angle shot with only men in it which makes them seem intimidating to the viewer like the way women in the rock industry may be made to feel which helps the audience to feel sympathy for Gwen Stefani.
The fourth frame lasts about 1 second and this series of short frames may represent the fast paced lifestyle being in the rock industry.

The frame shows an average-looking middle class American house which may be similar to those of the audience and therefore relates to the title ‘I’m Just A Girl’ because it suggests that she is like any other woman trying to make her way in a male-dominated workplace.
